Welcome to my world of fiction, where love, loss and redemption intertwine like the roots of an old magnolia.

About Me
As a proud resident of Tennessee and a lover of Southern culture, I deeply treasure the simple life on our family farm—The Triple V. Since retiring from my long-time job of office manager, I now have time to enjoy my many passions which include writing, reading and enjoying the great outdoors.
I find pleasure in writing stories of mystic and intrigue and to make them uniquely mine, I weave bits and pieces of my own life experiences into the narrative. The Twisted Vine is my debut novel.
I hope you'll also check out my blog—storypetals.com. It's my hope that my stories will bring a smile and maybe a little laughter, too.

The Story Line
On a moonless Alabama night,, the house is cold and eerily quiet. When the front door is violently forced open, heavy footsteps go unheard. The intruder enters the room where Lizzie and her two children lie huddled together in a coma-like sleep. Alerted by her baby’s frantic cries, Lizzie strains through the darkness to see a shadowy figure clutching her child. A harrowing assault ensues, leaving tragedy in its wake.
Meanwhile, at her home in South Carolina Addie is abruptly awakened by a vision of her estranged twin in imminent danger. She rushes to her aid. Upon arrival, she's confronted with a horrific scene. With no time to consider the consequences, she makes rash decisions to safeguard her family from the aftermath.
In the safety of Addie’s home, the sisters must not only confront their past but also the looming threats closing in on them. As they are thrust deeper into mounting conflicts, the sisters join forces to outwit adversaries who threaten to expose their secrets hidden deep in the twisted vine.
